I recently had the chance to photograph next to Stacey Williams, the powerhouse behind Flying Dress Hawaiʻi, and to say I’m obsessed is an understatement. Even though my main focus is weddings and elopements, I’m always looking for ways my couples (and all women visiting Hawaiʻi) can celebrate themselves. Whether you’re newly engaged, just married, on a honeymoon, or simply traveling solo or with friends, a flying dress session is an unforgettable way to capture your beauty against Hawaiʻi’s breathtaking scenery.
One of my favorite recent sessions was with Laurine at a stunning location on Oʻahu. She chose a bold yellow dress, and at sunrise the whole scene turned golden – it was like watching the island wake up just for her. The flow of the fabric, the movement of the ocean breeze, the soft morning light… everything came together in the most magical way.
